額装西陣織 厳島経巻文

西陣織の織元、帯屋河合康幸の唐織袋帯 能装厳島経巻文を額装しました。
This is "Karaori fukuro obi" with "nohsou-Itsukushima-kyokanmon" design by "obiya Kawai Yasuyuki", a weaver of Nishijin textiles.

帯の良さをそのままに額縁へおさめております。
We have preserved the beauty of the obi by incorporating it into the picture frame.

西陣織の職人により織りだされた文様は、お部屋に飾っていただく事で和の雰囲気が引き立つアートやインテリアとしてお楽しみいただけます。
The patterns woven by Nishijin-ori craftsmen can be enjoyed as art and interior decorations that enhance the Japanese atmosphere of your room.

※帯をそのまま収納しておりますので、額の中から取り出せばもちろんお着物に合わせ締めていただけます。
※ Since the obi is stored as it is, you can of course take it out from the frame and use it to tie it with your kimono.

【唐織】
濡れ緯糸という濡らしたよこ糸で織る唐織の袋帯です。引き締まった張りのある生地に太い緯糸で柄を織り上げ文様がより強調されています。
”Karaori”
Karori is woven with wet silk weft.
Karori is characterized by its excellent groundwork and patterns woven with thick weft yarns.

【文様 意味・由来】
広島の厳島神社におさめられた経巻からモチーフを取材した文様の袋帯です。
”Meaning and origin of the pattern”
This is an obi with a pattern based on motifs from sutra scrolls enshrined at Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima.

＊シルク以外の素材について：指定外繊維は光沢のある金属糸や箔の台紙に使われております。

額縁は木製です。正面の透明の板はUVカットになっており、中の帯を痛める事がありません。
The frame is made of wood.
The transparent board on the front is UV-cut and will not damage the obi inside.
